New date revealed for the Big Model Hobby Show

THE BIG Model and Hobby Show 2021 which was to have taken place, at Aintree Racecourse, on 7 August 2021, has again been postponed, due to the uncertainty of the pandemic. The event is heading to Aintree Racecourse and is set to be bigger and better! The 2022 Big Model and Hobby Show will be even greater value, still family friendly. The event will offer to all those attending a wide range of activities for all ages, along with exhibition stands and demonstrations taking place throughout the day. RTC on Marine Drive Southport leaves motorcyclist with life changing injuries

ON Tuesday, 20 July 2021, Emergency Services where called out to an RTC on Marine Drive, Southport, near to Southport Sailing Club. It was reported that the collision involved a car and motorbike, leaving the motorcyclist with significant injuries. Respond to the incident was North West Ambulance Service and North West Air Ambulance, along with both Merseyside Police along with Merseyside Fire and Rescue.

Merseyside Police said:- "We're asking anyone who was in the Marine Drive area, around 4.45pm, who may have witnessed the collision, to contact the Matrix Roads Policing Unit on:- 01517771530. If you captured mobile phone or dashcam footage of the incident, it could prove vital to our investigation. We are informed that the motorcycle, a man in his 30's, was taken to Hospital for life changing injuries following the incident. We are also told that the car involved stopped and the driver is helping with the investigation.
