LOCAL TOBY CARVERY AND INN SET TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
A local good cause is set to benefit from a generous cash donation from the Formby Toby Carvery on Church Road in Formby.
Manager Dave Munro said:- "We'll be closing the restaurant and pub down for a week to give it a bit of a makeover, which will include a great new pub area and brand new décor. You should be able to spot the difference as soon as you walk in. We'll also be re-training staff to make sure they're all up to scratch on giving our customers an even better experience.
So while we're busy making a difference to our interior, we'd also like to make a difference in the community. We've got £150 and will consider donating it to all kinds of local groups, like football teams and support groups. If you can put the money to good use then you're welcome to apply."
The Formby Toby Carvery and pub will be even more welcoming with comfy seating areas and a great range of drinks, including cask ales. The unique service style of the carvery means you can instantly collect your food with no waiting around, including a choice of three succulent roast meats and eight freshly cooked vegetables, all expertly served on the carvery deck.
If your group needs some support, please call the Toby Good Cause Hotline on 0121 362 4060 and leave your name, telephone number, your good cause and briefly, what you would do with the money. Once we have selected a group, the team will be in touch with you about other ways they can help you raise funds.
- The Formby Toby Carvery will close on Monday 10th November and will
re open on Tuesday 18th November in the evening. The nearest Toby Carvery while the Formby restaurant is shut is the Ainsdale Toby Carvery on Liverpool Road in Ainsdale, Southport.
