3 Men Charged

THREE men were charged with possession of an offensive weapon after they were arrested at Liverpool John Lennon Airport in the evening of Thursday 4 March, at around 6:50pm by Merseyside Police. The men were Edward Smith, 31, from Queen Street in Runcorn, John Currie, 28, from Borrowsdale Road in Wavertree and Tony Whitney, 20, from Hinderbrand Road in Walton will all appear before Liverpool Magistrates Court on 9 March.
