- THE ORANGE LODGE ANNUAL MARCH
BANK HOLIDAY Monday was the day the Junior Orange Lodge march took place in Southport. Bands played and marched through Southport's Town Centre with children from all over the North West taking part. A spokeslady for the Lodge said,
"The weather has been fantastic for us. Despite the cloud coming over on the return march through the town, we have thoroughly enjoyed the day and so have the kids. Thank you to all who took part and to the people of Southport for allowing us to hold our annual event in such a nice town."
