B&M Retail Ltd 'Trading Up'

B&M RETAIL Ltd the discount retailer who has a store located in Southport has this week announced the appointment of their new trading director Adrian Filak. 

The famed retail company who are renowned for the sensational prices they offer their customers are expanding and developing their buying powers by introducing Adrian to their team. 

Adrian, 41, has 19 years of the retail industry previously holding positions at Tesco, Safeway and Netto as trading controller. Adrian joins the team of eleven buyers who have between them 80 years of experience purchasing quality items at the best possible prices. 

Adrian said:- "I'm really looking forward to the challenge of working for such a customer focused company that aims to deliver the best possible products and prices for their dedicated customers. I intend to use my knowledge and experience to manage the team in order to drive sales whilst satisfying our customer's needs." 

The company who have almost a cult following from their customers and suppliers have twenty stores located across the North of England and are due to open their twenty-first store on the 6th November in Harpurhey, Manchester, are a dedicated employer and strive to employ the best people with experience and knowledge of the retail industry. 

Local Lad Meets his Match 

PHIL OLIVIER from Liverpool is taking part in the latest reality TV phenomenon to hit our screens, The Match. The actor, who is best known for his role as Tinhead in Brookside, still enjoys a good night out in the local pubs. 

Tish Ormrod, manager of the hog's head on North John Street, Liverpool, says "I am delighted a local lad is taking part. He has always been keen on football and is a keen supporter of Liverpool FC so I can see why he would want to be in this show." 

The Match is being shown exclusively at hog's head pubs across the UK including the hog's head on North John Street. The show follows the celebs as they train for a football team and for up to 18 hours a day reveals their tantrums, injuries and triumphs live to the nation. It started on Sunday 3 October with an hour long special. 

Phil Olivier has been training hard for the past three weeks and has moved into a purpose built sports training complex this week to begin the final week of gruelling footballer training. 

There will be a thrilling, intense football match between the team of celebs, who the audience can vote for, and a team of professional footballing legends. The legends include Paul Gascoigne, Matt Le Tisier and Ray Houghton, making them formidable opponents.
