- Liverpool's New Air Links Take Off
LIVERPOOL AIRPORT'S new air links to Aberdeen, Cardiff and Plymouth took off this week.
Wales' rapidly expanding national airline, Air Wales, is now operating the twice-daily return services, which fly direct to Aberdeen and Cardiff International Airports. Travellers are also now able to connect to Plymouth City Airport at Cardiff.
Air Wales Chairman, Roy Thomas, said:- "We've researched these routes
well and are confident that their launch will fulfil a real need amongst the North West travelling public. Until now, travelling times to these destinations are lengthy and often inconvenient, but by launching this cost effective, twice-a-day service, we hope to address this problem, while also opening up business and tourism opportunities for the North West.
Air Wales is a rapidly expanding airline and we are committed to increasing the portfolio of regional destinations we serve. We look
forward to working in close partnership with Liverpool John Lennon
Airport and to making a success of these new services."
