1. Can’t Sing Singers BBC1 Saturday 5.40pm NEW SERIES. Fame Academy’s David
and Carrie Grant are on hand to judge whether a host of vocally challenged wannabes can be turned into
talented singers. Lorraine Kelly oversees proceedings.
2. The Hussein Family History Saturday 9pm.
This chilling documentary takes a look at the bloodthirsty
background of former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein and his
dysfunctional brood.

Simpsons Sky One Sunday 6.30pm NEW SERIES. The
yellow perils are back with a brand new run which kicks off with
Marge and Homer having a baking contest and Bart hosting a 70s-style
Playboy party. James Caan guest stars.

The Master: Swordsmith History Sunday 8pm History’s greatest craftsmen come under the spotlight in
this intriguing series which starts with a look at Japan’s
relationship with samurai
swords which began back in the 13th century.
