1. Celebrity Big Brother Channel 4 Saturday & Sunday 9pm. FINAL. With a walkout by Germaine Greer, the arrival of the slighty scary Jackie Stallone and the bizarre behaviour of John McCririck, this year's CBB has been the most entertaining yet, but who will walk away with the cash prize? With live daily coverage on E4.

2. Smallville E4 Monday 9pm. NEW SERIES. The fourth series of Clark Kent's (Tom Welling) early adventures kicks off with the teenager's return to Smallville and his first uneasy meeting with Lois Lane (Erica Durance). 

3. Like Father, Like Son ITV1 Monday & Tuesday 9pm. Phil Davis and Robson Green star as the new boyfriend of a woman whose teenage son may be following in the footsteps of his murderous father. Jemma Redgrave co-star sin the chilling two-part drama. 

4. Anatomy for Beginners Channel 4 Monday-Wednesday 11.05pm. Thursday 11.30pm. NEW SERIES. Cast iron stomachs are a must as anatomist Gunther von Hagens carries out a series of human dissections to explain in gruesome detail how the body works. 

5. The O.C. E4 Tuesday 9pm. NEW SERIES. Get ready for more heartfelt teen angst as the beautiful ones of Orange County return for a second series. While Marissa (Mischa Barton) is missing Ryan (Benjamin McKenzie), Summer (Rachel Bilson) is trying to get over Seth (Adam Brody).

6. The Rotters' Club BBC2 Wednesday 9pm NEW SERIES. Mark Williams, Hugo Speer and Sarah Lancashire are part of a stellar cast in this three-part adaptation of Jonathan Coe's best-selling coming of age novel about three families in 1970s Birmingham. 

7. Point Pleasant E4 Wednesday 9pm. NEW SERIES. This Buffy-esque supernatural drama follows a mysterious young woman who is washed up off the coast of New Jersey and turns out to be the daughter of the devil. 

8. Grandchild of the Holocaust BBC1 Wednesday 10.35pm. Just one of the host of programmes marking the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, this moving documentary follows a Jewish survivor of the Holocaust as she takes an emotional journey back to the prison camp with her young grandson. 

9. ER E4 Thursday 9pm. After seven years, assistant surgical chief Dr Elizabeth Corday (Alex Kingston) assesses her future in Chicago following the furore over the recent illegal organ donation.

10. Fahrenheit 9/11 Channel 4 Thursday 9pm. Controversial but compelling, filmmaker and satirist Michael Moore's anti-Bush documentary premieres.

MOST people know the story of "Hobson's Choice" , a beautifully crafted comedy that deals with love, improvement and concerns the deflating of the conceited windbag, Hobson. If you don't know the classic, this story is about Hobson. He is a archetypal Victorian father has a boot shop in 19th Century Lancashire, in which his three daughters work along with the skilled, down-trodden, underpaid bootmaker, Willie Mossop. Hobson appears to have his life and business under full control - until……… Sorry you will just have to see the play to find out the rest. 

Henry Hobson is played by, Richard Tate (formerly Ian Sharp). He was born in Liverpool and educated at Liverpool Junior Art School and Liverpool College of Art. He is joined by Norman Thomas as Jim Heeler, Hobson's bosom buddy. Norman was born in St. Helens and taught for a while at Dingle Vale School. He is joined by former chairman and now honorary member of the Variety Club of Great Britain as well a s radio personality Tom Burroughs. He will play two roles as Freddie Beenstock and Dr. McFarlane. Leading female is Maria Louise Cookson. She is a local professional actress from Hesketh Bank. 

This production is directed by Lancashire based Anne Dalton, writer and director of the award-winning musical Her Benny, and produced by ABD Productions whose productions have sold out the Liverpool Empire several times. Other forthcoming productions include "Moments of Magic",(the music of Matt Monro, Perry Como and Judy Garland) and Old Tyme Music Hall chaired by Roger Phillips of BBC Radio Merseyside.

The production of "Hobson's Choice" runs from Febuary 1 to 5 Febuary only at The Neptune Theatre, Liverpool with matinees at 2.00pm and evening performances at 7.30pm . Tickets are only £12 with group concessions. Bookings can be made via the box office on 0151 709 7844 or 0870 6077 590
