Film Review:- "Mr and Mrs Smith"
By Eric Lyon Taylor

THIS Film is not bad, but saying that it is not good either. Plot was predictable and very obvious from the word go. Actions was good, as well as some of the humour, but overall it hought it was a little lacklustre. No gadgets to appeal to the Bond fans, not enough humour for comedy fans, and not enough serious action for those into action flicks. Although the scene in the shopping centre was rather good and reminiscent of some other good serious films, but it wasn't enough and it was to late in the film.

Our editor Patrick did spot a small error with continuity... Yes the boot of a mini-van opens twice without ever being closed in between in a chase sequence.

3 out of 5 most people will enjoy this on a Saturday afternoon with nothing else on.

Film Review:- "Batman Begins"
By Eric Lyon Taylor

THIS is a very good film, better than all its predeccessors, and hopefully if they keep the same actor then it will grow to better than anything else that has come before in this vein. Unfortunately there were some bits which I felt borrowed from other superhero - hero comics more than they should have.

The start of the film resembled the film The Shadow all too much, although 'the ability to cloud men's minds' was absent at least obviously it was actually hinted at several times. This detracted from the film somewhat, but I persevered and I'm glad I did, as the film after this point is very good Batman. They get his violent streak down pat, as well as his gadgets, although he has help from other people for that.

4 out of 5 for this one, with a lot of big name stars in it, this film is a must see. Special effects are awesome, and i want one of those cars, you'll know what I mean when you see it. Parking won't be a problem anymore with one of those.
