THIS years Southport weekender
is one of Europe’s best loved indoor music events, held twice
yearly, this music festival attracts a 5000 capacity crowd to the
indoor Pontins Holiday complex in Southport, North West England.
having evolved from it’s beginnings as a soul music weekender
founded by hedonist, Alex Lowes, the 18 year old event now stands as
the most musically diverse music weekender in the u.k. calendar. an
intimate friendly crowd of dedicated dancers and discerning music
lovers will be your companions at the event, which features four
purpose built arenas featuring state of the art production and
sound, each covering all genres of the best soulful music around.

are still in negotiation with some heavyweight live acts to perform
and hope to have some more confirmed next week especially for the

this superb live 3
piece band from usa have already taken southport by storm last year,
so what more could we do than get to them back!.. in the space where
electronica and live music collide and the boundaries between
current and classic dance music blur, you'll find tortured soul.
it's a new concept in the world of house music: tortured soul
perform completely live. the instrumentation is simple and organic -
drums, electric bass, vintage keys, and vocals - but the sound is
thick with layers of heartfelt soul, danceable grooves, and
infectious hooks. they’re live soulful house!
