WARREN Bradley Liverpool Council
leader and property developer John Milligan cut the ribbon to
officially open the new £70 million MetQuarter shopping centre on 9
March 06. The prestige shops such as Armani, Gieves and Hawkes,
Whistles, Vidal Sassoon and Levi Strauss gave Liverpool shoppers a
chance to flex their credit cards in the building which was the Old
Post Office. None of the shops had ever opened in the city before
now.
