Funfest 2007
ON Saturday we
have to say that the Southport Visitor and local radio station Dune
FM helped put on what has to be an amazing show on Princes Park,
Southport.
The Southport Funfest was in its fourth year and again
good weather helped make visitors to the show soar into treble
figures.
The day had some very interesting moments but, on the
whole, it as was very cheerful, social event that was ideal for all
ages.
It really lived up to its name… it was fun!
Not only that but
the event helped raise the profiles of and much needed cash for many
local and national charities, which work from or cover this area. A
full report will be in next week’s issue.
