HOGWARTS HALLOWEEN REUNION FOR HARRY POTTER STARS

HOGWARTS Professors will reunite for a Halloween Music Event, as Harry Potter actors attend Patrick Doyle's ‘Music from the Movies’ at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 28 October. Featuring music from Goblet of Fire composer Patrick Doyle, the event is in aid of Leukaemia Research, the UK’s leading blood cancer charity.

Kenneth Branagh (aka Prof. Lockhart), directing the event, will be joined by other Harry Potter actors including: Emma Thompson (Prof. Trelawney), Alan Rickman (Prof. Snape), Timothy Spall (Peter Pettigrew) and Robbie Coltrane (Prof. Hagrid). The event will also be supported by Catherine Deneuve Richard E. Grant, Sir Derek Jacobi and Dame Judi Dench. The stars will introduce some of the greatest film soundtracks of all time - including themes from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Sense and Sensibility and Calendar Girls.

All this well-loved music is written by world famous film composer Patrick Doyle; himself a leukaemia survivor. Patrick will join the London Symphony Orchestra together with the London Symphony Chorus for this exclusive concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

The evening of music, conducted by respected international conductor Dirk Brossé, promises to be an enthralling mix of glamour and movie magic.

Kenneth Branagh says:- "Blood cancers affect so many people, yet relatively little is known about them. It'll be a fantastic evening but it means nothing without an audience. We are determined to pack the Albert Hall to the rafters and at the same time raise essential money and awareness for an important, hardworking charity."

Patrick Doyle says:- "Being diagnosed with leukaemia was such a shock. I'm very aware that due to the ongoing research funded by Leukaemia Research, I am one of the ones that came through, and am still in remission. The only way to give everyone with blood cancer the best possible chance of survival is to improve treatments, and this can only be done with continued research.  But research costs money - a lot of money. By organising this concert I hope that we can help Leukaemia Research continue their amazing work and bring encouragement to everyone who is diagnosed with this dreadful disease."
