			 New
			Year’s Day

			ON NEW Year’s
Day 75 people and around 5 dogs set out on a walk from Freshfield
Station under the Active Sefton Walks and Cycle programme.
			Despite the nippy
winds people set off at a brisk pace, assumedly to gain a little
			exercise after the festive period.
			The walk was via
Fisherman’s Path and the relatively new path behind the Formby Golf
Club course towards the National Trust; back along the beach, and
returned via Fisherman’s Path to the Railway Station.

			At 41/2 miles, it was
just right for most people and seemingly well enjoyed by all.
			This was one of a
series of walk and cycle venues advertised.

			 THE
			SOUTHPORT VETERANS DAY 2008

			THIS event is
to take place on Sunday 29 June 2008 on Princes Park, in conjunction
with the Veterans Agency and the Veterans Fund. We hope to make this
an annual event and it will include all forces careers teams,
cadets, bands, ex-service organisations and charities.

			There are affordable
sponsorship and advertising deals you really can't ignore. Most
importantly, money raised is not for us to make a huge profit but to
cover the cost of the show and back into the charity. There is no
charge on the gate for the public so as to attract as many people as
			possible.

			The show is an
enjoyable element of the armed services and will attract not only
Veterans but families and children and will present a prime
opportunity to elevate the image of your business within both the
local community and the wider Merseyside area.

			There are various
opportunities your company may find beneficial...
			SPONSORSHIP
			There are various
deals available from sponsoring the whole event to individual
activity such as the Battle of Britain Memorial Flypast, Dog team
demonstration, Arial Rope Slide, The Lancastrian band and your local
			cadet displays.
			BANNER
			ADVERTISEMENTS
			A unique opportunity
to advertise within the central arena of the event is also
available. Located within the main activity of the show, a banner
not only guarantees your company gains maximum contact with the
spectators of the show but also ensures your image is in the thick
of the action! And after the event the banner is your to take away
			and use again.
			DISTRIBUTION OF
			PROMOTIONAL FLIERS
For a fee of £200 we
will issue your promotional material at point of entry ensuring that
your company message or even information on a particular promotion
			reaches the maximum of visitors.

As you can see there are numerous opportunities available, ideally
we are looking for a main sponsor who would benefit from full media
cover on radio and press. If you would like to take part in this
event, or just like to make a donation in cash or gifts for the
assortment of raffles and tom-bolas then please don't hesitate to
			contact Steve Hawkshaw on 07914918381
