A night of Burlesque & Music...
ON Friday 7
March 2008, we headed next door to the Latin Lounge, on Post Office
Ave, Southport, to see the very talented singer, Mary Gaze, perform.
As usual, her talented voice soon swept the venue into a party
atmosphere. Her lively performance of well know, 'pop songs'
went on well into the night, with many asking for more at the end of
her set. But what we did not expect was to get a sneak preview of
the Slippery Bell Burlesque Show... Yes, two stunning young ladies,
who are from Edge Hill Uni. came in dressed in their beautiful
burlesque costumes, to advertise their show that will be performing
at the venue on 21 March 2008.
Latin Lounge Event Update
The Slippery Bell Burlesque Show...
You are invited to a
fabulous night of beautiful burlesque and witty cabaret. The event
will he held on Friday 21 March 2008. The event will be featuring
'Scarlet Fever' from the television show "Faking
It".
Booking is essential,
tickets are only £10 each!
Easter Sunday Carvery...
On Sunday 23 March 2008, the Latin Lounge will be holding an Easter
Sunday Carvery. The carvery will be served from 12.30pm and will
have 2 courses. Adults £10.95 - Children (12 and under) £4.95. You
can also get 3 courses for Adults £14.95 - Children £6.95. Again
booking is essential!
AMIGOS - Singles Night…
On Friday 28 March 2008 The Alternative Singles evening will be held
at The Latin Lounge, which will be an opportunity to meet like
minded people, make new friends and enjoy an evening out without
being left out... 'Where strangers are just friends waiting to
be introduced….' The event costs £10inc buffet, booking
essential.
Theatre of the Mind!
On 5 April 2008, the Latin Lounge will host an amazing night of
magic, mind reading, psychology and suggestion... with a bit of
stand up thrown in for good measure! This is a ticket only event and
already they are selling fast. The tickets cost £20 per person and
that includes a luxury Buffet and 3 acts! The event will start at
7:30pm and if you miss this, the next time you will get to see it,
if you are not in Spain or Ireland will be at the end of the year in
one of the local theatres!

EVERY MONDAY NIGHT - Salsa Classes held also at the Latin
Lounge. The classes are beginners through to advanced. The
classes start at 7:30pm each Monday, please come along and join in,
all are welcome.
