Large and Free to see weekend events in Formby!

Formby Arts festival will have a Village Mediaeval Fayre on the 6 of July to kick of the week long festivities.  Starting at 10am onwards with Sword cancers, clog dancers, singers, bands, parade with knights on horse back, children's entertainers, local schools and lots of stalls.   From 11am onwards the Lifeboat Road Mediaeval Events start, these are also free and also run on the Sunday during the day!  From 12 noon onwards the "Knights shall Battle" before your very eyes on the Dunes of Lifeboat Road!  See next weeks issue for more and exiting information and maps and times of all the events!

Selling Faster than ever!

Warning Formby Arts festival is selling more and more tickets and the festival is now set to get well under way with top acts!  So book now  Order by post with a Cheque made out to "Formby Millennium Committee" and post to:-  "Formby Festival Tickets C/O, Formby CVS Office, Rosemary Lane, Formby, L37 3HA."

Or visit the Formby Times Offices on Elbow Lane or the Formby Swimming Pool Resource Centre.

Proceeds will go towards the Formby Swimming Pool Project.

 

Reckless is touring Europe and is looking forward to playing at the Festival, so is Humphrey Lyttelton!  The organizers said "We are looking forward to the festival and so are the bands.  already their has been a huge response and we are selling tickets fast. We are having a good response and should raise a lot of cash for the Formby Pool Project"
