Film review:- Snow Dogs.

I would recommend the movie to anyone, especially children over the age of eight. But I have to say this is not a typical comedy.  The plot revolves around a city hot weather loving dentist called Ted Brooks who finds out that he is adopted and that his  mother is now dead and has left a house and contents to him in Alaska in a very out of the ay town called  Toketna,

Dr. Brooks learns that in addition to some property he has inherited a team of sled dogs! They go by the names of Diesel, Scooper, Nana, Yodel, Sniff, Mack, Duchess, and Demon. Demon, the lead dog.

Not only is Demon out to get Ted, but a local named Thunder Jack (James Colburn) is attempting to obtain the dogs from the city slicker underdog. Learning some information about Thunder Jack, Brooks decides he will try to learn the skill of driving a team of sled dogs. You can guess the rest.

This is a very easy to follow film that is quite good fun.  Not very imaginative but has some classic moments that will make you laugh.  This is also a strange film as is more fun after the film than during it.  You will suddenly find your self laughing about the film some time after the film has ended.

Look out for the best part on the beach and spot the odd continuity glitch.

It can be hard to follow at times as it does plod on in places, so young kids get very restless.  Never the less 4 stars for this one!

Thank goodness that they did not have out cuts at the end as that would have spoiled it out right!
