Formby Christmas Lights 2008

FORMBY'S Christmas Lights were switched on in style on Thursday, 20 November 2008 by an Everton legend, the former manager of Everton Football Club, Howard Kendel, who was joined by John Cooper and Dave Turley from Dune 107.9. Also on the stage were previous X-Factor contestants Paris and Carlo, whose amazing voices kept the massive crowd entertained. Along the main road in the village centre were fun fair rides, side stalls and even the local Formby and District Rotary Club with Santa. Not only that, but Brough's the Butchers made delicious barbecued burgers and sausages. As normal we will let the photographs give you a taste of what happened that night.
