Street Preachers. 

Southport’s churches were on the streets of Southport this weekend.   Lord Street on Sunday, despite the appalling weather had churchgoer’s holding a service out side the Arts Centre.  All ages took part and a band played hims.  The open air service started with the introduction and opening prayer taken by Nick Vernon, during the service a solo was played by Rachel Me Donald and a Dance Group from Leyland Rd Ladies showed off their dance steps.   This will be a regular accordance through out the town with these churches participating, Argyle Road Pentecostal Church, Banks Methodist, Church Road Chapel, Christ Church,  Community Church,  Corner Stones Baptist,  Crossens Methodist,  Elim Pentecostal Church,  Leyland Road Methodist Church,  Salvation Army,  St George's United Reform Church,  St Peters Church,  St Simon's and St Jude's,  Woodvale Chapel.
