WLLR Steam Gala Day

THE West Lancashire Light Railway which runs by the village of Hesketh Bank, held its annual Steam Gala weekend over Saturday 8 August and Sunday 9 August 2009. The event was well attended, with not one, but three engines in full steam. On the Sunday the Mayor of West Lancashire Borough Council, Cllr. Geoff Roberts and Mayoress Eileen Roberts, who attended with their grandson, whose birthday was on that same day. These are a few snaps taken at this event.
