READERS COMPETITION – “MUM…I’M BORED…!”

WELL cries of “Mum I’m bored” can made school holidays drag on for Mums, but creative, clever kids who love to ‘make and do’ have discovered PlayMais. PlayMais, if you did not know is a model making craze that’ll keep them amused for hours! Modelling clay can be a disappointment, when the colours mix to a brown mush after just a few plays, but PlayMais is the new, brightly coloured modelling material, that its maker says will never lose its colour! The material sticks together on contact, it uses merely water as the ‘glue’. This makes it completely harmless, leaving mum’s to get on with the day to day chores whilst the little ones can get crafty in safety.

The material lets kids make models of animals, sea creatures, pirates or fantasy houses easier then ever. What’s more, because PlayMais is made from corn and natural dyes it’s totally eco-friendly.… That means unlike most materials like it, when playtime is over PlayMais can be thrown out with the recycling, as its 100% biodegradable! Anyway why are we going on about PlayMais? Well the makers are running an activity day in John Lewis Liverpool on the 14 November 2009. "It's a day when adults and kids can come along to the store and can play with PlayMais for free! They can make models from PlayMais and take them home to show the rest of the family and their friends what they created." a PlayMais spokesman told us.

But for 3 lucky readers you can get your own PlayMais to play with at home! All you have to do is answer a simple question, that is “What food is PlayMais made from?” Send your name address, phone number and your answer by:- 1:00pm (GMT) - 12 November 2009, by email to news24@southportreporter.com

Please note:- The winners information will be sent to the event promoters Aspen PR so they can get the PlayMais to the winners. Also employees of John Lewis, Aspen PR, PlayMais, PBT Media Relations Ltd, and PCBT Photography are not allowed to enter. Our standard Terms and Conditions apply. The winners will be picked out at random. Good luck!
