Coroner's Officers are appealing for the next of kin of a woman who
died in Liverpool to come forward. Beatrice Grogan, aged 86,
died at her home in South Station Road, Liverpool 25 on 30 October
2009. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
Coroners officers are appealing for anyone who may be related to or
who may know of her relatives to contact Liverpool Coroners Office

MISSING FROM HOME - ALLAN SCOTT
MERSEYSIDE
Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of 28
year old Allan Scott, who has been missing from his home in Cobden
Road, Southport, since 25 October 2009.
Allan was last seen at around 2pm on Friday, 23 October 2009, at his
home address by his parents.
He spoke to his
parents over the phone the following day, but he has not been in
contact since then. His family and friends are concerned for
his safety.
Allan is described as white, 5ft 8in tall, medium build with short
blond/light brown hair. He has blue eyes and a fair complexion.
He speaks with a
Scottish accent.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans and white Fila.
He is known to frequent Liverpool city centre, the Sefton area,
particularly Southport, but he is also know to go to and Birmingham
as well.
Police have been actively seeking Allan since he was reported
missing and enquiries are ongoing to establish his whereabouts.

BURGLARY, HOGHTON ARMS PUB, SOUTHPORT
MERSEYSIDE
Police have released CCTV stills of three men wanted in connection
with an aggravated burglary at the Hoghton Arms pub in Southport on
Tuesday night 3 November 2009.
Officers were called to the pub in Hoghton Street at 10.11pm
following reports that three men had entered the pub through a back
door and ordered a female staff member to open the safe in the
office.
The woman agreed and handed over a quantity of cash and the men left
the scene in a black and white van.
They are are
described as white men, aged in their 20s, who spoke with Liverpool
accents and were wearing dark-coloured tracksuits, baseball caps,
gloves and trainers.
The tallest offender was wearing a light-coloured tracksuit with
three dark stripes down the left leg and trainers with whote toe
caps.
The other two offenders wore tracksuit tops that were darker than
the bottoms. One offender had reflective toggles on his top and
two-tone trainers.
One of the men was armed with a hammer or crowbar.
The staff member was
not hurt during the incident but was left shaken by her ordeal.
The pub was sealed off for forensic examination and patrols searched
the area.
