Fall into autumn
with a charity skydive for the NSPCC
THE NSPCC is challenging
fearless people in Merseyside to plunge 10,000ft out of a plane this
autumn to help raise vital funds for the children’s charity.
Solo or tandem jumps are available year round and anyone over the
age of 16 and in good health can jump from one of 20 different sites
across the UK.
NSPCC Deputy Head of local fundraising, Deborah Adams, said:-
"We would like to see as many daredevils as possible make the bold
leap to help support the NSPCC’s work locally.
The money they raise through sponsorship will help support our
frontline staff to continue working with some of the most at risk
children and families in Merseyside and provide many disadvantaged
young people with a far happier future. It will also help the NSPCC
to develop its national helplines – ChildLine for young people and
the NSPCC Helpline for concerned adults – so that we can be there
for vulnerable children and young people wherever they may be in the
UK."
A charity skydive is ideal for individual thrill-seekers looking to
test their nerve, or for groups of friends, family and even
colleagues as a corporate team-building challenge. People can sign
up year-round and will receive full training from a qualified
instructor, fundraising support, a range of fantastic materials and
a certificate upon completion of their jump.
No experience is necessary, and your training and jump are FREE if
you raise a minimum sponsorship of £395.
For more information on the types of jumps available or to register
your interest now, contact the NSPCC North West fundraising team

MERSEYSIDE’S
BIGGEST VARIETY SHOW RETURNS TO THE EMPIRE
MERSEYSIDE'S finest
musicians and comedians are coming together for one night only when
‘Music With Laughter’ returns with a brand new show to the Liverpool
Empire on Saturday, 22 October 2011.
Headlined by The Christians, whose chart topping hits include Ideal
World and Forgotten Town, the line up also includes comedy from BBC

variety theatre was extremely popular and we couldn’t wait to get
started on the next one."
Co-producer, Rob Fennah, added:- "Not only do we want to give
our audience a great night out; we also want to give them good value

we’ve done that."
Millions of people around the world have watched impressionist
Stevie Riks do his hilarious impersonations of The Beatles, David
Bowie and The Gallagher brothers on You Tube and the BBC. Now hailed
by many critics as the most original impressionist around, Rob
