2011 Labour
Party Conference In Liverpool - Part 2
Photographs by Patrick
Trollope.
LIVERPOOL played host to
the first ever Autumn
Labour Party Conference at the Liverpool Arena and
Conference Centre. The event was well attended with MP's from
all over the UK attending. Also visiting where many
Councillors and other party officials. But it was not
just the normal Labour Party members and supporters who attended, as
they invited many students and none party members to attended.
One of the sessions was also held seeing the
parties leader, Ed Miliband, taking
questions from none party members, both in the conference hall and
out side via Twitter. This was a first for any UK party to do
at a conference and it was hoped to show the parties changing face
and direction. Many media outlets questioned Miliband's
performance through out and after the conference, but it was
interesting to see the reactions of people who normally would not
support the party taking note. We had intended to do a bigger
round up of the event, but we think the photos and our video
highlights of the speeches should do the job. But we would
also like to know what your views are about the conference.
