Shadow Health
Minister and Sefton Central Labour campaign for NHS in Southport!
THE Labour Party's Shadow Health Minister,
Andrew Gwynne, together with Sefton Central Labour MP, Bill Esterson,
were in Southport, Merseyside, on Thursday, 1 March 2012, on Chapel
Street, outside Southport's Train Station. The area is one of the
busiest areas of the Town Centre, so we headed down to find out what
was going on. We found them and many Labour party members calling
for Tory-Lib Dem government to "Drop the NHS Bill" and getting
members of the public to sign a petition. The two MPs, together with
Manor Ward Labour candidate, John Kelly, Norwood Ward Labour
candidate, Lesley Delve, and Blundellsands Ward Labour candidate,
Veronica Bennett, headed over to John Pugh's constituency offices on
Shakespeare Street, Southport to post through the Lid Dem offices
letterbox some of the Drop The Bill postcards.
