CONFRONTATIONAL
BURGLARY E-FIT
MERSEYSIDE Police have
released an e-fit of a man officers would like to speak to in
connection with a confrontational burglary in Bootle, on Monday, 8
October 2012. At about 8.50pm, 2 men knocked on the door of a
property on Linacre Lane. When the 28 year old female occupant
answered the door the men asked to speak with a person called Dave.
They were told no one of that name lived at the address. The men
then forced their way into the property and began to searching the
rooms. The offenders then took the woman's purse before leaving the
property. Although uninjured the woman and the 2 children in the
property were left very shaken. The 1st offender is described as
being of mixed race, aged in his late 20s, tall and of a slim build
with short dark hair. He was wearing a grey jacket and dark coloured
trousers. The 2nd offender is described as being of mixed race, aged
in his 30s, 5ft 7 ins tall and of a stocky build. Both men spoke
with Liverpool accents. Officers have issued an e-fit of a man they
believe may be able to help them with their enquiries. DC Neil
Dillon, said:- "We are absolutely determined to find these
offenders so they cannot commit further crimes, but we need the
public's help in finding them. I would appeal for people to cast
their minds back and if they saw anything that in hindsight seems
suspicious, to contact us with that information. I believe the man
pictured may have information vital to this investigation and I
would urge him, anyone who recognises him or anyone with information
to contact us as a matter of urgency. I'd also like to reassure
people that incidents like this are thankfully very rare and
neighbourhood officers will be patrolling this area. Information
that seems trivial to them may turn out to be crucial for us in
catching these offenders. An investigation into the full
circumstances of the incident is ongoing." Anyone with
information is asked to contact Merseyside Police on:- 0151 777 3055
or Crimestoppers on:- 0800 555 111.

via our online shop, as it proves a popular way to buy Christmas

puppy calendar this year illustrated with a selection of photos of
our puppies in training. We also have an I Love Canine Partners

children. We value any support the community can give us in changing
the lives of people with disabilities and you can either buy online
or place your order over the phone. So please let Canine Partners
help with your Christmas shopping in the knowledge that you will be
helping someone with a disability to benefit from one of our dogs."
Iain Hamill (33) has multiple sclerosis and was the fortunate
recipient of Innie in 2010. Iain comments:- "Innie does a raft
of physical tasks for me including the majority of fetching and
carrying. However, some of the more subtle benefits of having a
canine partner are just as important. After I had to retire due to
my health, I struggled with my sense of purpose. No longer was I the
household breadwinner who went out to work each day, which I found
very difficult. Since Innie came into my life I am not just Iain in
a wheelchair, I am Iain and Innie; which has given me a new sense of
identity."
