ARTE.TV filming in Liverpool

ON 15 January 2013, we caught up with a German, French TV crew, who have been filming in Liverpool for weekly cultural magazine on ARTE. The program, called:- 'Metropolis'   is about intellectual and artistic life in France, Germany and all over Europe. It focuses on a wide range of topics ranging from music, theatre, dance, literature, film, comics, design, new media even architecture! The filming they have been doing in Liverpool will be part of the 50 minute show that is due to be aired on the network on Saturday, 2 February 2013. This show features a Liverpool performance artist, we photographed at the Albert Dock, who we were told goes by the performance name:- 'Mothman', but if that is true or not, you will have to watch to find out! If you like art and interesting ideas, 'Metropolis' is well worth taking notice of and is broadcast in Europe every Saturday, at 5.30pm, and repeated every following Monday night. But as we are in the UK, we can see it via:- videos.arte.tv It is not hard to find a Film crew or TV crew making a movie, music video or TV program in Liverpool now, and, most interesting, is Liverpool’s attraction to the foreign film crews, who come from Brazil, Russia, India and even Hollywood to film here.
