Express your
style!
Report by Rebecca Langtry
TODAY'S
trends are an important part of nearly every girls daily life
because its essential that we feel confident with our outfit and
look as good as we feel. So following trends that you adore and that
show off your personality is key! It may not be Vogue you're
reading, but if you are a fashionista you will always be equipped
with your favourite magazine that follows your best loved celebs and
your choice of style. 'Company' magazine appeals to
everyday people because that is where they get the majority of the
newest trends from - your everyday people you seen on your local
streets. Blogs are also a great way of finding quirky styles and are
great for sharing tips, trading clothes and creating your own little
photo shoots to accompany fashion tips. Company magazine is ideal if
you prefer to be casual and comfortable and accessorize to the max.
The monthly magazine features pages after pages of 'street
girl' columns that show off our street cred and influence
our image, encouraging us to desire the clothes they wear. Street
girl columns enable us to see the different colours that are worn
and what they are matched with from people your own age which gives
you a wider spectrum of what fellow teens are wearing, not just your
friends in your area or college. Or if you prefer high end fashion,
'Glamour' and 'Cosmopolitan' are for us
that love to desire gorgeous gowns and heels worn on the red carpet
or London Fashion Week. With gorgeous gals like Nicole Scherzinger
on the glossy cover in a hot pink dress its hard not to be drawn in
to sit and flick the pages of 'Stylists' secrets or
the beauty tips on how to get 'model girl skin'. Cosmo
and Glamour consist of page after page of editorials, catwalk
reviews, designer adverts, perfume samples and photo shoots. Its
hard not to recognise these magazine are more about celebrity
fashion, designers new collections and the new latest Hollywood
actors. Although Company magazine does have its glamorous editorial
with amazing hair and make up and styling outfits that us teenagers
can wear to parties and occasions its hard to find that one special
magazine that includes everything you want to read about whether its
weekly or monthly, that's why these 3 magazines, Company, Glamour
and Cosmopolitan all appeal to a variety of ages and guarantee to
please some of expectations of fashion magazines.
