Signature
Living's New Location Opens
Photos by Patrick Trollope.
A new concept for staying over in Liverpool
has emerged... The motto of Signature Living is "Where hotels
stop we start" and you probably can't get a better
introduction than that. Back in 2008 the company had just one
apartment, but now the business has grown and is really making waves
in the City. On Thursday, 21 February 2013, we were invited to the
official opening of one of the newest luxury holiday apartments,
located within the Rope Works area of the City Centre. The block is
hidden and does not stand out as anything special; in fact you can
might walk on past without noticing it at all! This venue will be
one of the most sort-after places to stay in the City Centre for
VIP's. Yet the price, we have been told, will be extremely low for
guests. So keep an eye out, as you never know who will be about! The
opening night party was held in the Signature Hotels 'Vault',
with representatives from the City Council, the local media, major
football clubs, galleries and other business, including the
theatres. Hosted by the venue's Manager, Andy Duckworth, the party
proved to be a fantastic success. Cocktails were on hand and guests
were also offered various opportunities including a free cut by
local award winning hairdressers
Hooka, a chance to play on a
casino card table, thanks to
Leo Casino - Liverpool
and model Claire Namukolo Seddon helped man the casino stand, DJ by
Jess Dole gave the party atmosphere with a fantastic R'n'B beat,
plus a burlesque show, by Mimi
Amore, along with canapés by
Lucha
Libre to name a few of
the other entertainments. It is very hard to describe the theme of
the location, but as you go down a narrow, black painted staircase,
you are not quite sure what to expect, but you are in for quite a
surprise! What was once an old bank with a basement has been turned
into an amazing set of pads! The deco is, at times like what you
would expect to find if you had been on the set of the Big Brother
House. At other times it changes into a kind of neo classical look,
then a gothic look and then a film studio set, to name just a few.
It also has so many gadgets from key pad entry to the rooms to TVs
all over the place and…. well the list goes on. It is a truly mixed
up concept and yet, for some unknown reason, it magically works,
forming a style of its own. On the night, all who attended were told
about the possible services that this accommodation has to offer
and, with over 300 beds, this venture has a lot to shout about.
Well, we will let some of the shots explain what we are trying to
say. This is a party venue and also a venue that I can see many
music and film crews using at the same time. We have been told that
they are already heavily booked for the next 12 months! But a few
places still remain, so if you are thinking about stopping over in
Liverpool and want a place that is that extra bit special... stop
wasting time and log onto
signatureliving.co.uk for
more information! One thing is for certain, Liverpool has long
needed such an original location like this. Plus we have been told
more are planned!
