THESE are some photographs
taken at a Celebrity Cook Off called:- "Under starters orders"
that took place this week at the Hanover Social. On the Red
Team was Desperate Scouseswives Gill O'Toole and Amanda Harrington
and for the Blue Team was Desperate Scousewives Chris Johnsone White
and Big Brother star Lauren Carre. The event was held to raise money
for Alder Hey Children's Hospital, and raised over £30,000!

THE Liverpool Philharmonic
Hall hosted an amazing night on Saturday, 30 March 2013, as the
former Dr.
Hook singer Dennis Locorriere took to the stage as part of his
latest tour of the UK.
The musician was both at the start and at the end of impressive
evenings performance the met with a deafening round of applause. The
audience who attended could not mistake his distinctive and
unforgettable voice and it is no wonder why he is now a successful
solo artist in his own right! These are some photographs taken

Southport and
Ormskirk stars are shortlisted in annual awards
THE shortlist has been
announced for the Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust 2013
Pride Awards, the annual awards ceremony that rewards staff who've
gone that extra mile.
Nominations were received from colleagues and patients throughout
February and were whittled down to a shortlist made up of staff
members and union representatives. The winners will be announced at
an awards evening on Friday, 10 May 2013, at
Southport Theatre and Convention Centre.

all year round and these awards are a chance for us to celebrate
their successes."
Merseyside Celebrity Watch - Who was
in Liverpool over Easter?

THIS Easter, Liverpool had
quite a few stars from TV and film in and around the City. Dave
Evens snapped the Liverpool born Bollwood star, Amy Jackson, as she
arrived at the bespoke jewellers Russel and Case. She was at the
shop to support the Miss Liverpool competition. Also attending with
her was Danny Lawrence, the wife of footballer Brad Jone, along with
Danny Lawrence and Gemma Russell. Sadly the daughter of Harrods
owner, Dcamilla Alfeyd, who was a judge in the Miss Liverpool
contest couldn't get to the event due to transport issues. Do
