money for the Red Cross. Join local companies from across the
Northwest including Interface Contracts and Rowley-Szilagy plus more
and win prizes and trophies including tickets to the London and
Manchester Golf Show!
Senior Community Fundraiser Alexis Fairclough from Liverpool said:-
"The Red Cross Golf Challenge is a fantastic day of golf and
competition, and I am sure that you will have a great day plus from
a business point of view, maybe enjoy some networking on the
fairway!"
The day starts with registration from 1pm and upon arrival you will
receive morning coffee and a bacon roll while you settle for the day
ahead. There is a shotgun start, so there will be no waiting around,
plus it frees up time for those working or who are business owners.
Golfers will tee off from 2pm making their way around this beautiful
members course at Woolton, which is one of the oldest in the North
West, and a member of the Merseyside Golf Society.
On the course, there will be a bar facility to enjoy refreshments
plus advice from the resident golfing pro at Woolton Golf Club.
Following on, you will enjoy a luxury three course dinner starting
at 7.30pm and presentation by the Club Captain. There will be plenty
of opportunity to network with associates, with attendees and
business owners from across the North West attending. You don't have
to be a business owner though to attend, this event is open to all
golfers of all abilities, and the Red Cross would like to invite
local club members and societies to enter a team.
Alexis added:- "We have competitions on the day including:
Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin, Winning team and individual with
prizes and trophies... plus the dreaded "Team Red ball!"
- upon registration your team will be given a red ball with your
team number on it, and the aim is for each player to take a shot on
each hole with it, then try your best to keep it all the way round!
Believe me, there are not many teams that come back with our RED
BALL!! There will be a special prize for the team/s that return with
it!"
You can find out more information on the British Red Cross
website.
To register your team or individual place, please call:- 0151 702
5061 or
email
them.
Alexis concluded:- "We hope that golfers from Southport can
join us this year at Woolton, and I'd be delighted if local
societies and club captains from clubs around Sefton could put a
team in to support the Red Cross and to take part.
We also have sponsorship packages available, and from previous golf
days where we have had sponsors before including local leading law
firms, we've had comments and praise on how professional and
beneficial sponsoring the day was for them. Sponsorship starts from
£350 to sponsor a hole, moving to the full sponsorship of the whole
day with our Gold package. If you are interested in sponsorship I'd
be delighted to work closely with you and your relevant marketing
department".
The Red Cross Golf Challenge is already promising to be a fantastic
day and all proceeds will go directly to the British Red Cross to
help change lives and save lives across Merseyside, the UK and all
around the World. The cost of entering a team of four is just £200
and individuals can enter at a cost of £55 per person.
