Liverpool's
Wonderland Market
Photographs by Patrick

WELL, it really is looking
like Christmas in Liverpool’s City Centre, as the Liverpool
Christmas Market takes place in and around the centre and Liverpool
One. “This year’s market in Liverpool puts our home town to
shame. It has even more of a festive feel and is so easy to get
around. People are just so friendly and like us everyone seems to be
enjoying the unusual sites. The busking music groups are an added
bonus, playing many Christmas songs to an externally high standard.
We were surprised to find out that many just turn up and play and
are not booked to play. It is such a good atmosphere. We will be
recommending it to our friends and family to visit. Also as we are
from Manchester, it has taken us by surprise, as we did not know
Liverpool did this!” One of the visitors to the City told us
when we asked them what they thought about the market. These are a
few photos and a few video clips taken of the market and also the
more unusual part of the event, with some of the local businesses
setting up shop within Liverpool's very first shipping container
market, hosted in Williamson Square. The event runs until 22
December 2013 and for more information visit:-

Also please enjoy our video clips as well... If you have attended
the market, please do let us know what you think of it by emailing

you have not yet been to the festivities in the City Centre, do not
forget to go! If you find the Liverpool Tea Company, do not
forget to say:- “Hi from “Southport and Mersey Reporter.”
