Wedding Rooms Open Day at the Ramada Plaza Hotel

THE 4 star Plaza, located in Marine Lake, very near the Southport Town Centre, opened up their wedding rooms last Sunday, 23 March 2014, to allow guests to see all the facilities the room had to offer and to get an idea of exactly what their long awaited wedding day may look like. 2 grand rooms were laid out with every wedding décor you could imagine fitted perfectly into each room to portray the complete wedding experience, right down to the bows around the seats. Nothing was left to chance.

This effort is believed to have paid off, with guests giving glowing reviews, obviously a positive sign for Ramada, who announced on their Facebook page that they received 4 bookings on the day.

It should be noted that all members of staff were polite and maintained a smart and professional demeanour throughout our visit Also they were more than happy to show us around and explain about the rooms.

Sales Office Manager at the Ramada, Nicky Goodwin, was also available for a few questions and gave us some more information.

"The downstairs room fits a maximum amount of 220 people, whilst the Hesketh Suite upstairs, holds up to 100 guests." said Ms Goodwin. She also added that they normally get about 3 to 4 parties booking per week.

Whilst the rooms themselves look magnificent, the Plaza also has the facilities to further heighten the wedding experience:- "We have a portable dance floor, which can be moved between the two rooms. This will have no effect on the capaCity of the rooms." explained Ms Goodwin.

Along with the dance floor, there is a portable bar which will be available in the Hesketh Suite, whilst the downstairs suite already has an extensive bar of its own. There is also a separate balcony for guests on the lower suite, where they can overlook the gorgeous Southport Promenade.

The Sales Office Manager,  Ms Goodwin, specified that rooms are not only used for weddings. "Our rooms are also used for sportsman dinners, charity events, breakfast meetings, pretty much anything really.  When it comes to price, we offer our guests bespoke packages, which can be sorted to suit their budgets.  Also we have launched wedding package for Jan & Feb 2015 prices from £2182.50 - 50 day guests and 100 evening details on our Facebook page"
