Issue:- 26 September 2014
1st concert of 'Kiss Me Once Tour' by Kylie Minogue, at the Liverpool Arena
FOR
Kylie
MinogueOBE fans, ever since the
announcement was made in March 2014, excitement had been building up in anticipation of her return to Liverpool. On
24 September 2014, the storm broke and fans headed over to the
Liverpool Arena to see the first night of a 31 show tour which
takes in 15 countries. Tickets were limited to 6 tickets per person,
but with the massive venue, the attending fans were easily
accommodated. It is hard to think that it has been a quarter of a
century since Kylie last played in Liverpool and she did not
disappoint. Her Kylie's 'Kiss Me Once Tour' is, as
billed... true to form as a "celebration of both new and old
material, sparkling costume changes, dance routines," by this amazing
queen of pop. It is enough to get all her fans spinning around. The show
is slick and sophisticated and well worth watching. These are a few
photographs taken of the opening numbers of the first night, taken
by our fantastic photographer Jo Forrest! If you attended, please let us know
what you thought of the ultimate pop diva's show... Also, please send
us your memories of classics old Kylie Minogue events which you have attended
and do let us know what you think of her new work. Email your
thoughts and views to:-
