Witness appeal after wallet stolen from Huyton Railway Station
DO you recognise this man? British Transport Police officers have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to after a wallet was stolen from Huyton Railway Station before an attempt was made to use one of the debit cards it contained. The wallet was stolen at around 2.30pm on Tuesday, 3 February 2015. Investigating officer PC Adam Burgess said:- "The victim had dropped his wallet at the station where it was picked up by 2 men. 1 of the victim's debit cards from the wallet was then unsuccessfully used at a Co-Op store in Wavertree. We believe the man in the image may have vital information about the incident and we would urge him or anyone who recognises him to come forward and get in touch with BTP. Any information could prove vital to our investigation."
