Wirral Hotel and Restaurant
gets 4 Gold Star AA rating again!
STAFF at an Italian restaurant and inn
in Bromborough are celebrating after being awarded a 4 Gold Star AA Hotel Rating
for the 3rd year in a row. Pesto at the Dibbinsdale Inn was awarded the 4
Gold star accreditation following a recent mystery inspection which looks at
whether the hotel meets a stringent set of criteria on a variety of quality
standards. The inn and restaurant on Dibbinsdale Road has already proved popular
with local residents after bringing Pesto's trademark'piattini'
dining experience to the Wirral, where diners can enjoy an authentic selection
of small Italian dishes during one meal. The report, which evaluated the dining
offering as well as the accommodation standards of the 12 room inn, also saw the
restaurant win a special Dinner award for the 2nd year in a row. Simon
Numphud, Head of AA Hotel Services commented:- "We're very pleased that
Pesto at the Dibbinsdale Inn has retained its 4 gold star status. It's a well
run establishment offering guests comfort and high-quality facilities in a
peaceful setting and is set apart by its excellently presented restaurant which
offers a unique informal Italian dining experience. It truly deserves its
accreditation."
The star rating scheme was introduced by AA Hotel Services in 1912 to recognise
and reward establishments for their quality and range of services and
facilities. These standards are also shared with the three national tourist
boards to ensure consistency of quality and service throughout the UK.Co-owner of Pesto Sara Edwards comments:- "As 1 of the few 4 star
hotels in Bromborough, we're very proud that the hard work and dedication of the
Pesto at the Dibbinsdale team has been acknowledged by the AA with these 2
fantastic awards."
