BBC's Flog- It! Auctioneer
Adam Partridge Presents Liverpool Charity with Cheque to Help Local Causes
ONLOOKERS at auction house Liverpool
Sale Room were treated to more than just antiques recently when volunteers from
Nugent Care were presented with a cheque for £1,054 by Adam Partridge.
BBC's Flog It! presenter Adam is a strong supporter of the charity which is one
of the North West's oldest causes. He said:- "Over the last twelve months,
the Liverpool Sale Room has been proudly associated with this well respected
local charity who provide such valuable help and support in many areas across
the city, as well as the whole region. Every penny raised at our auction's
refreshment bar goes straight to specific projects at Nugent Care and I
sincerely hope that our collaboration will continue for many years to come."
The money raised came from the amazing efforts of The Knights of the Columba,
whose main aim is to help people in the local community. The Knights and other
Nugent Care volunteers serve refreshments during each sale at Liverpool Sale
Room. Danny Grimes, 1 of the Knights, said:- "The Knights have a long
history of supporting Nugent Care through actions such as giving time and
raising money and are delighted to be associated with an organisation which does
so much good in the community."
