Southport Food and Drink
Festival 2015 was a massive hit!
Photographs by Patrick Trollope.
WELL it is not a flash in the pan, the
Southport Food and Drink Festival is just getting bigger and better each year
since it moved to Victoria Park. The event is now in it's 9th year and has
attracted record numbers of locals and tourist alike. With the aromas of
freshly cooked foods drifting over the park, you could not help but feel hungry.
With mostly good weather and a good selection of stalls selling a wide variety
of foods, from English to spicy Indian dishes, what more could you ask for?
Well they also provided live music and other entertainment. One of the
many other entertaining this was the Southport Bake Off, where local chefs put
their skills to the test in a live cook off... Another attraction was the
amazing kids tent, that kept the younger visitors well and truly entertained.
Now most tease buds that sampled the delights are looking forward to the 10th
Birthday of the event next year. If you took part, or attended the event,
please let us know what you though of it, by emailing us to
