Armed robbery at an off licence in Litherland
MERSEYSIDE Police Detectives
investigating an armed robbery at an off-licence in Litherland, released CCTV
footage, on 15 June 2015, of 4 men they want to trace. The incident happened at
the Bargain Booze shop on Ennerdale Drive at 8.40pm on 17 May 2015. Detective
Constable Adam Dagnall from Sefton CID said:- "This was a frightening incident
for the staff
involved who are just local people doing their job. We believe there were 4
offenders and 1 attacked the security glass with a hammer while others
threatened staff before leaving empty handed. No one has a right to do this to
decent, ordinary working people and I am appealing to the local community for
help. Please take a good look at the CCTV images and call me if you have any
information that can help me identify who these people are." Call Sefton CID
