	 LJLA celebrates new
	Guernsey service for Summer 2016
CHANNEL Islands based C. I. Travel
Group has announced the launch of a new service from Liverpool to Guernsey
	for Summer 2016.

The service, which is subject to licence approval, will operate every
	Saturday between 4 June and 10 September, 2016, using a 46 seat ATR 42
aircraft chartered from Channel Islands carrier Blue Islands.
This will be the 1st time in over 20 years that Liverpool
will be served by a direct link with the island, which lies just off the
	coast of Normandy.

The route will be sold exclusively by C. I. Travel Group's well established
consumer brands that include Airways Holidays and GuernseyTravel.com. It
will also be used by Guernsey hoteliers who wish to offer their own clients
from the Liverpool area a direct flight to the island.
Robert Mackenzie, Managing Director of the C. I. Travel
Group, said:- "We are delighted to have concluded negotiations for the
launch of a new service from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Guernsey for
next summer.   C. I. Travel has always had a strong presence in
the North West of England but it has been over 20 years since visitors were
able to travel directly to Guernsey from Liverpool. We believe that this new
opportunity to visit the Bailiwick for a holiday and fly direct from
	Liverpool will prove very popular."

Andrew Cornish, CEO of Liverpool John Lennon Airport added:- "This is
now our 9th new destination to either commence or be announced this year and
a great way to end 2015. It has been many years since we featured flights
from Liverpool to this picturesque Channel Island, with Guernsey becoming
the latest addition to the growing choice of great destinations for the
region's travellers to visit, with the convenience of flying from their
	local airport."
