Review:- Johnny English
WELL the Bean is running again...... Rowan Atkinson, this time is as silly and funny as ever. Ok the jokes are not 100% original, but still this is very, very funny. Good old Atkinson plays the Agent Number One in a spoof spy thriller that is supposed to take the style of "007" and the antics of "Black Adder" and "Bean" to all new side splitting hilarity. Agent Number One also known, as Johnny English is a spy that even the secret service hates to admit they have. After he is left to guard all the top agents of MI5 and MI6, he suddenly find him self as the new Agent Number One ... Oops... As the tagline goes
"He Knows No Fear. He Knows No Danger. He Knows Nothing...."
well he knows alot of.... and that lead him into being the only one who spots the real evil villain.
This is good old-fashioned British humour. Well worth a look, but as the jokes a bit old hat and well "Carry on Spying" in style at times. The plot is a bit predictable and I have to rate this at a 4 out of five. Sorry a bit harsh I know....
