Belvoir West Derby collects
Silver award in nationwide independent property survey
TV property expert Phil Spencer has
paid tribute to a Liverpool based lettings agency following its major success in
a nationwide customer satisfaction survey.
Residential property lettings and sales business, Belvoir West Derby, based at
54 Mill Lane, picked up a Silver award for its services to tenant clients in the
national 2017 Estate and Letting Agent Awards (ESTAS).
It's the 2nd year
running they have topped the poll; having won Gold in 2016.
The ESTAS are unique in the property industry since winning results are based
entirely on independent feedback provided by both landlords and tenants.
Nationally, over 34,000 people completed an in depth customer satisfaction
questionnaire to nominate their favourite agent.
This makes the ESTAS, now in
its 14th year, the most influential and authoritative awards scheme of its kind.
Speaking after announcing this year's winners, Phil Spencer, who is the ESTAS
ambassador, said:- "The property industry doesn't get enough credit for
the work it does with millions of customers around the UK, helping to make their
dreams come true.
We live in a world where the consumer decision making process is influenced more
and more by customer reviews; so the ESTAS provides a kite mark of excellent
service for property professionals who play such an important role in the home
moving process. From the highly positive reviews put forward by tenant clients
of Belvoir West Derby in Liverpool, it is evident that their team encapsulates
what a typical independent agent is trying to do, which is to provide an honest,
transparent service for their clients."
Belvoir West Derby owner, Adam Rastall, who along with business partner Paul
Rice also owns a 2nd Belvoir Office, in Liverpool City Centre, said:-
"Our award category was contested by agents throughout the whole of the North
West including the major conurbations of Greater Manchester and Merseyside, so
we are thrilled to have been ranked so highly once more.
The award reflects the dedication and commitment that our fantastic team puts
into the care of a vast range of tenants who are looking for quality residential
accommodation to call home in our local area.
We are extremely grateful for all of their positive reviews and our thanks go to
everyone who took the time to complete the survey and provide a true picture of
their own individual experiences."
Belvoir, which has over 300 offices throughout its UK wide network, also
triumphed in the 2017 ESTAS overall, collecting a Silver award for:- ‘Best
Large Agency Group.'
Chief Operating Officer, Dorian Gonsalves, said:- "Adam and Paul are
amongst 10 of our offices to be recognised by the ESTAS this year and we
congratulate them on this tremendous achievement.
Central to our success is a continuous and vigorous drive to be the very best in
the business and their teams in Liverpool are a great example of this." |

The Children's Centre
fundraising challenge supported by Steam Packet Company once again
THE Isle of Man Steam Packet
Company is again supporting a charity challenge which will see a team of
fundraisers cycle almost 1,000 miles through Britain.
The Children's Centre is offering Island residents the chance to join the
Land's End to John O'Groats (LEJOG) cycle challenge in July. The 9 day
journey will raise money for the Manx charity which develops, manages and
pioneers community initiatives and services aimed at enabling children,
young people and families to realise their full potential.
Each team member must pay a ₤95 registration fee and then either raise
₤1,300 for 'The Children's Centre' or ₤750 for the charity plus a personal
contribution of ₤550 to cover costs.
The Steam Packet Company is supporting by assisting with the cost of the
team's travel to and from the UK. Fiona Dawson, Chief Executive of The Children's Centre, said:-
"Starting in Cornwall and following a route through Dartmoor, the Welsh
border, the Lake District and Scotland to the finishing point at John O'Groats, this is an amazing cycling adventure. It is a tough challenge, but
also a fabulous way to see stunning scenery, and 1 of the most rewarding cycling experiences the rider will ever have.
The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company's assistance with travel for this
challenge helps reduce the cost of taking part and on behalf of The
Children's Centre I'd like to thank the company for renewing its much valued
support."
An experienced leader will cycle with the team and be on hand to help with
any bike problems during the challenge, which runs from 30 June to 10 July
2017.
There will also be a back up van carrying a spare bike and spare parts, so
that repairs can be made enroute.
The Children's Centre's fundraising team will give advice and support on
every aspect, including fundraising, kit and physical fitness; the
challenge requires a reasonable level of fitness, so pre-event training is
essential.
Steam Packet Company Chief Executive Mark Woodward said:- "We've been
pleased to support The Children's Centre for many years, assisting with
fundraising projects to continue its extremely valuable work in the Isle of
Man.
Riders will need physical determination and dedication to fundraising to
complete this major challenge, and I wish everyone who takes part the very
best of luck."
