Brazilica 2017
Photographs by Patrick Trollope
THIS years Brazilica Carnival was another fantastic
success, but sadly it was tinted with sadness after the death a few days before
of Alan Fletcher, the owner of the Paramount Stewarding and Security Ltd. who do
has done the Stewarding ever since it started 10 years ago.
The Brazilica
Carnival Parade set off from Abercromby Square, at 8pm, on Saturday, 15 July
2017 and snaked its way though the City Centre. On the way, this spectacular
parade was filled with live music, Samba dancing.
Even though it was smaller
than in normal, the organisers Liverpool Carnival Company still delivered. This
stunning event again proved why it is now 1 of the most looked forward to events
in Liverpool.
This year the unique festival in the UK celebrating Brazilian arts
and culture at one stage was joined by a bride and groom, who joined the parade
and gave the wedding guests and the crowds an added delight!
