New Festival FamFest Brings Fantastic Family Fun To Warrington

A fabulous new family friendly festival is coming to Warrington, in August 2018. The FamFest Warrington, the brainchild of Wire FM founder Pete Pinnington, takes place at Orford Jubilee Park, over Saturday, 11 August and Sunday, 12 August 2018, and promises a weekend of amazing activities and events for all the family.

Tickets are now on sale via:- FamFestWarrington.Co.UK and there is a special early bird offer running for a limited time only.

The action packed event runs from 11am to 10pm, each day, and will feature a host of fantastic activity zones, attractions and household names, including:- Mister Maker and The Basil Brush Show who will be on hand to entertain the little ones.

A packed programme on the main stage will feature top tribute acts paying homage to stars like:- Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars and Little Mix.

On Saturday, 11 August 2018, the weekend will kick off in style with live performances throughout the day by tributes artists who will bring crowds all the hits from:- Will Smith, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, Britney Spears, Bruno Mars and Michael Jackson.

There will also be live shows and performances by:- Beauty and The Beast, The Minions, Mister Maker and Basil Brush, PLUS an extra special performance by Warringtonian; and winner of BBC's The Voice 2017, Mo Jamil.

On Sunday, 12 August 2018, will include live performances on the big stage by tributes to:- Jesse J, Katy Perry, Jess Glynne, Taylor Swift, Kaiser Chiefs, The Killers, Lionel Richie, Coldplay, Little Mix, George Michael and Take That.

And young festivalgoers will love the live shows and performances from:- Beauty and The Beast, The Minions and Basil Brush.

Visitors to FamFest Warrington will also be able to meet a vast range of characters throughout the 2 day family festival including:- Darth Vader and Stormtroopers, Balthazar Bratz and The Minions, Beauty and The Beast, Ironman, Hulk, Mr T (A-Team), princesses and many more!

FamFest Warrington is a ticketed event. Along with regular ticket prices, there are also upgrade options to VIP, family VIP or weekend tickets.

Ticket entry will give visitors access to:- Sports Zone, Kids Zone and Circus Skills activities, the Basil Brush Show, a Kids Craft Zone with Disney's Art Attack presenter Lloyd Warbey, Character Zone and a Princesses Pamper Pavilion as well as the main stage tribute artists and shows. Mister Maker and his live shows are also there, but only on the Saturday.

And there will also be food and drink, including a full licensed bar, and a VIP marquee.

My company and I have the infrastructure and excellent support team around us to ensure we deliver a truly memorable and enjoyable family festival for all ages to enjoy and Warrington to be proud of."


Peter Pan in The Auditorium at Liverpool ACC

FOLLOWING on from last Christmas' smash hit Aladdin, in The Auditorium, at Liverpool ACC, Leanne Campbell (Radio City) is set to return as Tinkerbell in this year's festive spectacular Peter Pan. Leanne will be joined by panto stars Bippo and Danny Mills as Mr and Mrs Smee.

Leanne played the Slave of the Ring last year and said:- "I am delighted to be returning to the Auditorium at Echo Arena, for Christmas 2018. The audience there were brilliant for Aladdin. I know that we have some big things in store for everyone with this panto and I can't wait to show you all Neverland."

Producer and director James Shone said:- "I am really proud of the cast we are putting together. With Leanne, Danny and Bippo I know we going to have the funniest panto in Liverpool. There is going to be some more big casting news coming soon so I would get your tickets while the best seats are still available."

Bippo is a circus performer and theatre funny man who has toured Europe, entertained Prince Charles and gathered a loyal group of fans the 'Bipsters.' Danny Millls is a hilarious actor who has played panto dames up and down the country.

Peter Pan follows the boy who refuses to grow up and his fairy sidekick Tinkerbell as they visit the nursery of Wendy, John and Michael Darling. With a sprinkling of magical fairy dust, watch Peter and his new friends fly out the nursery window and over London to Neverland. Will Peter Pan and his gang defeat the evil Captain Hook and rid Neverland of evil?
