Crowds Flock to Liverpool Spring Festival

THOUSANDS of visitors flocked to Sefton Park, in Liverpool, for this years Spring Festival, that was held over 28 April to 29 April 2018. As part of the pop up event, there was a giant outdoor food court serving international street food, as well as stalls dedicated to craft beers, artisan gins, Prosecco and speciality coffees, even dancing sheep!

During the weekend, visitors had an opportunity to check out some of Merseyside's top local independent businesses at the festival's artisan markets. There were also workshops and master classes on everything from gardening and growing your own vegetables to yoga and vegan and vegetarian cooking.

Youngsters enjoyed a weekend of family fun and entertainment with:- vintage fairground rides, pizza making, storytelling sessions, arts and crafts, donkey rides, birds of prey and an entertaining dancing sheep show.

Isabella Kantor, Liverpool Spring Festival Event Manager, said:- "A big thank you to everyone who came along to Liverpool Spring Festival at the weekend. There was a fantastic atmosphere and it was great to see so many people enjoying the fun.  We're looking forward to returning to Sefton Park in September with Liverpool Food and Drink Festival."
