UK Hot Cars May Bank Holiday Meet

ON Bank Holiday Sunday, 6 May 2018, the UK Hot Cars held their monthly event at the back of Silcocks Funland, under Southport's historic Pier. A wide range of fantastic automobiles were parked neatly along the bank of the Marine Lake, for tourists and locals to admire. This event is well managed and totally free for people to view and to take part in. Also taking place was the weekly motorbike meet at the top of the Kings Gardens and next to the Silcocks' Carousel. Unlike the UK Hot Cars, who had marshals with radios keeping control of those attending the car event, the bikers were unsupervised... But they did have some amazing bikes on display... These meets are becoming more common and bring in lots of money to the local economy. We cannot wait to see what UK Hot Cars do for June, but we can confirm that they will have a very special attraction at the next meet. More will be revealed in our next issue. Also in August, the car club who has members from all over the North West will be holding its biggest event yet, in August on Princes Park, Southport...
