THE British Musical Fireworks 2018 have blasted off in style on Friday Night.  The event is going from strength to strength, capturing the attention of national and international press for all the good reasons!  This event runs until the final night on 20 September, so please be aware that road closures are in place as a result.  But If you have never been,  you will not appreciate just how amazing these fireworks are. Forget the 5 November shows, think the London on New Years Eve, and you get a kind of idea.  Sadly on Friday night, the night these photos where snapped, the firing did not go to plan for the second team,  highlighting just how difficult this competition is. It requires split second accuracy to fire in time with the notes of the music as well as attention to detail.  Full report in next weeks issue, but these photos should give you an idea of what is on offer.
