UK Hot Cars holds another successful monthly meet in Southport

ON Sunday, 3 March 2019, UK Hot Cars (UKHC) held it's monthly meet on the banks of Southport's Marine Lake. Despite the bad weather, cars and petrol heads still came out to what is a local friendly car community event! At the same time, some of the drivers also took part in the monthly litter collection, that they do when the meet up on the Pier side of the Kings Gardens, better known as the Lower Promenade. Marshalled by the UKHC Team those attending enjoy a safe and enjoyable afternoon in Southport, often leaving their cars at the static event and heading in to Town to shop and also grab a bacon butty, along with a brew, at the Marine Lake Cafe. This is now the clubs 16th Year, and it keeps getting bigger and better. The members of UKHC are also interested in supporting other clubs as well as helping charities, so if you want them to help or attended an event, do let them know. If you want to take part in the display, in April, it will be held again next to the Marine Lake Café (PR9 0EA) from 11am to around 4:30pm. The club have strict rules that you must agree to and follow, but come rain or shine, they still put on the show. If entering a car, you must book in and not just turn up. Contact the club via Facebook for more information and to request a place to take part in what is a very popular event. If your in Town on 7 April 2019, or on 5 May 2019, it is free to visit. So please do go down come down and have a look at what’s going on!  Sadly, our photos don't do this event justice, as they where taken at the every end of the day. Annoyingly, the very high end cars had just left the site, as we arrived...  But you can still get an idea from the photos what types of other cars are often on display at this free car show.
