IT was an amazing to see the tens of thousands of Liverpool Football Club fans lining the City's streets to watch the UEFA Champions League Winners come past, on Sunday 2 June 2019. Sadly the wind played havoc to the media, with the viewing point next to our location nearly loosing its top as the TV crews got ready to watch as they passed the The Royal Liver Building, and iconic Liver Birds. All ages and nationalities mixed to cheer the team on as they went around a route, with fireworks and red smoke all the way around. We had a fantastic vantage point of the team, thank to Liverpool Council and St Nicholas Church, as the procession passed though Liverpool’s UNESCO World Heritage Waterfront, with the newly acquired trophy on an open top bus, along with team and invited guests. We have to praise Liverpool Council for the planning they did as well as the Emergency Services and stewards. It just shows, it is good to plan ahead, despite what some of the national media said before the win, accusing them of being:- "A little too presumptuous by planning the trophy parade."  We are wan t to say that fans were very well behaved, exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. PS. A massive thanks to St Nicholas Church for all your help and supplying drinks to the media who had been setting up since the early hours of the morning. It was extremely appreciated.
