Mersey River Festival 2019 Photos by L Trollope. THIS years Mersey River Festival was held over Saturday, 1 June and Sunday, 2 June 2019. This year the River Festival Liverpool had 2 new artistic features, a huge 23ft replica of the Earth, located within the Liverpool Cathedral and a giant humpback whale, projected in the Royal Albert Dock. Plus the free celebration of music, art, food and more on Liverpool’s iconic Waterfront offered locals and visitors a wide range of activities. This included the award-winning Bordeaux Wine Festival Liverpool. Plus over on the Wirral, they had the 'Golden Age Of Hollywood' on it's waterfront.
